Unknown Resourcing is seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer - Marine to join our team in Essex. As a key member of our R&D Engineering client, you will contribute to the advancement of future Marine Hydrogen technology.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide support to projects as required, including BOM control and management of subcontract design and analysis activity.
- Assist in the design and analysis of systems, including component selection, system integration, and performance optimisation.
- Provide solutions for in-field failures and issues on company products and projects.
- Work closely and consult with cross-functional teams, including design, electrical, procurement, the workshop, and external partners, to achieve project objectives.
- Participate in testing protocols, data collection, and validation efforts to ensure the reliability and safety of the dual fuel systems.
- Contribute to quality assurance processes and ensure that projects meet regulatory and industry standards.
- Provide reports on work carried out, and maintain data pertaining to design, development and calibration work in line with business requirements.
- Bachelor or Master degree in Engineering.
- Familiarity with engineering software tools (Matlab/Simulink) and CAD design (e.g. CATIA/Solidworks) is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
- Flexible to a fast-changing industry, bringing up fresh ideas into the development teams to cope with challenges.
