We are a pioneering Gene therapy business based in London, seeking an experienced Scientist to join our team.

**Job Summary**

As a Scientist, you will be part of our vector development department, responsible for executing vector platform innovation to ensure our business stays at the forefront of Gene Therapy Research.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Oversee vector production to support pre-clinical studies and ensure seamless execution.
  • Lead on vector engineering projects, including vector design, optimization, and development, to drive innovation.
  • Execute analytical testing and assay optimization to support in vitro and in vivo projects, ensuring high-quality results.
  • Mentor junior scientists to foster growth and development within the team.

**Requirements**

  • PhD or equivalent experience in industry, with a strong background in molecular biology.
  • Deep knowledge of viral vector development and engineering, with a focus on AAV technology.
  • Strong molecular biology experience, including PCR, DNA preparation, and WES.
