Position Summary:

This is a position for a skilled scientist and intrapreneur who loves to push a research project from inception to its end.

We need an agile, innovative, team player and well-versed scientist in Gene Therapy, who enjoys driving a project in research from inception to its hand-over to the preclinical team, especially through transgene design and in vivo experiments, in sync with the other players of the team.

We need a proactive player, who can propose ideas, make actionable plans, propose them, and lead and review them to derisk possible weaknesses.

The person will report to the Senior Director, Pipeline expansion lead, in the R&D team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transgene design and development
  • Managing different work packages of the projects, including assay development, managing CROs, planning in vivo experiments
  • Presenting data internally and externally when appropriate
Qualifications and Skills:
  • PhD or equivalent experience in the industry
  • Previous experience in industry, preferably in Gene Therapy in gene design roles, but people with similar experience are welcome to apply
  • Highly prefer experience with AAV and Transgene Design
