Position Overview

OFS, a prominent player in the financial services sector, is seeking to appoint an IT Change Management Specialist to join their dedicated Service Delivery team. This role is pivotal in overseeing the integration of new services into the IT infrastructure and ensuring the integrity of the Configuration Management Database (CMDB).

Core Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the preparation of the Change Advisory Board (CAB) Workbench utilizing ServiceNow.
  • Serve as the Change Manager during CAB or Emergency CAB meetings as required.
  • Assist in the upkeep of a detailed configuration management database (CMDB) by consistently updating and validating configuration data.
  • Engage with clients and relevant stakeholders to gather essential service information.
  • Participate in routine audits to verify the accuracy and completeness of configuration data.

Required Skills and Experience

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a Service/Change Configuration role within the financial services industry is essential.
  • Proficiency with IT Service Management (ITSM) tools and technologies.
  • A solid understanding of ITIL principles and their practical application in IT service management.
  • Familiarity with configuration management databases (CMDB) and their significance in maintaining precise configuration data.
  • Knowledge of contemporary infrastructure technologies, including networking, servers, storage solutions, virtual desktops, virtual servers, and cloud services.
