About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our Reliability Maintenance Engineering team at Amazon. As a Reliability Maintenance Engineering Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of our operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance on equipment to ensure high levels of availability and minimize downtime.
  • React quickly to breakdowns, communicate effectively with affected parties, and work efficiently to resolve issues.
  • Support continuous improvement by learning from breakdowns and providing feedback and suggestions for improvements.
  • Manage and escalate high-severity tickets, and work with contractors as needed.
  • Perform engineering tasks, including basic, standard, advanced, and expert-level tasks.
Requirements
  • Served a full engineering indentured apprenticeship and/or qualified to a minimum of NVQ level 3 or equivalent.
  • Multi-skilled in both electrical and mechanical disciplines.
  • Experience of planned preventative maintenance systems and fault finding within MHE/Automation systems.
  • Experience of interpreting mechanical and electrical drawings.
