Reliability Maintenance Engineering Technician

This role is ideal for individuals with military experience and/or military spouses/children looking to transition into the private sector. At Amazon, thousands of former military personnel are driving innovation and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Our team maintains and optimizes technologies in the Global Amazon Warehouse & Delivery Network. We are seeking motivated, customer-focused individuals to join our team as Reliability Maintenance Engineering Technicians.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure safety regulations and policies are adhered to, and conduct preventative maintenance on time to a high standard.
  • Provide high levels of equipment availability through continuous improvement.
  • Manage contractors and escalations to specialist subcontractors when required.
  • Perform engineering tasks, including basic, standard, advanced, and expert levels (Levels 1-4).
  • Control and manage cleaning and waste companies.
  • Conduct scheduled and ad-hoc audits using online tools.
  • Manage critical spare parts inventory using a CMMS system.
Requirements:
  • Served a full engineering indentured apprenticeship and/or qualified to a minimum of NVQ level 3 or equivalent.
  • Multi-skilled in both electrical and mechanical disciplines.
  • Experience of planned preventative maintenance systems.
  • Experience in interpreting mechanical and electrical drawings.
  • Experience of conveyor maintenance, motor controllers/inverters, sortation machines, and print and apply machines.
