Senior Digital Forensics Consultant

Job Summary
The Senior Consultant– Digital Forensics & Expert Services role at Consilio LLC involves conducting and assisting in data preservation and digital investigations in complex litigation cases. This position requires leveraging knowledge of digital forensic tools, technology, and protocols related to the collection and management of electronically stored information (ESI) from various data sources.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform tasks related to the forensic examination of ESI under the supervision of a Manager.
- Conduct testing and research for new workflows and methodologies.
- Collect and analyze digital evidence in a defensible manner.
- Travel to onsite locations to perform data collections.
- Leverage experience with forensic tools, including Encase, FEC, FTK, Axiom, Oxygen, and Cellebrite.
- Follow Digital Forensic good practice methodologies (ISO17025 standard and ACPO Principles of Digital Evidence).
- Communicate complex technical information to non-technical clients.
- Demonstrate working knowledge and understanding of evidence management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in forensic computing or equivalent relevant experience.
- 3-5 years of progressively responsible experience in related forensic and consulting roles.
Preferred Attributes
- EDiscovery experience with relevant forensic collection and analysis software.
- Certifications in EnCase, Cellebrite, Nuix, CFE, or similar.
- SQL or scripting skills.
