Job Title: Butler

At SignatureStaff, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Butler to join our team. As a Butler, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our clients and their guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Meet and greet guests, and attend to their needs
  • Answer the telephone and handle incoming calls
  • Assist in the care and inventory of silver, glassware, and china
  • Assist in the care and inventory of the wine cellar
  • Serve at the table on a daily basis, with knowledge of silver and butler service
  • Pour and serve wine correctly, with a good knowledge of wine
  • Serve all food and beverages throughout the house
  • Work at larger events and assist in training additional waiting staff
  • Move furniture when required
  • Assist the Kitchen Porter in washing silver, glass, and china when required
Requirements:
  • Previous Private Household or 5* Hotel experience
  • Be comfortable with flexible working hours and inconsistent shift patterns
  • Be comfortable to get an enhanced DBS (this will be paid for/organised by the client)
Accommodation:

We offer a separate 7-bedroom ensuite house with shared kitchen and living areas.
