About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced sewing and embroidery instructor to join our team at Places for People Group. As a tutor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons to adults in the areas of sewing and needlework, including dressmaking and patchwork and quilting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging and informative lessons to students of varying skill levels.
  • Provide expert guidance and support to students, helping them to develop their skills and confidence.
  • Maintain a safe and organized learning environment, ensuring that all equipment and materials are properly stored and maintained.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, incorporating new techniques and ideas into your teaching.
About You

We are looking for a tutor who is passionate about sewing and embroidery, with a strong background in teaching adults. You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students of varying ages and abilities. A proven track record of delivering high-quality lessons and a commitment to ongoing professional development are essential.
