Group Tax Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Group Tax Accountant to join our team at Aila Recruitment. As a Group Tax Accountant, you will play a critical role in developing and maintaining a best-in-class tax advisory and compliance service across the group.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the group's corporation tax compliance process, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
- Deliver a proactive tax advisory service to the business, providing expert guidance on tax planning and optimization.
- Collaborate closely with the Finance team to ensure taxes are fully considered throughout key business decisions.
- Lead the R&D tax credit claim process, working closely with external professional advisors to ensure robust and accurate claims.
- Manage the group's global withholding tax process and obligations, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Oversee the end-to-end process for VAT, both UK and overseas, ensuring accurate and timely submissions.
- Identify and mitigate compliance risks, ensuring the group maximizes cash flow and minimizes tax liabilities.
- Develop and implement robust processes to ensure imports and exports are handled in the most cost-effective and compliant manner.
- ACA or CTA Qualified Accountant with 1-2 years' experience in a varied Tax Accountant role.
- Broad technical understanding across the full range of UK Tax.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritizing tasks in an organized and accurate manner within tight deadlines.
- Salary: £65,000 - £75,000.
- Performance-based bonus.
- 25 days annual leave + bank holidays.
