Teaching Opportunity at Croydon Council

We are seeking a qualified and experienced ESOL tutor to join our team at Croydon Council. As a sessional lecturer, you will be responsible for teaching English language skills to students of all levels, from Pre-Entry to Level 2.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach ESOL classes in a classroom setting at CALAT centres
  • Prepare learners for progression and accreditation
  • Use IT skills to support teaching and learning
  • Hold a teaching or training qualification (CELTA or equivalent)
Requirements:
  • Experience of teaching ESOL to all levels
  • Qualification in subject area (CELTA or equivalent)
  • Teaching or training qualification (Level 5 Diploma in Education & Training or equivalent)
