About the Role:
Portfolio Payroll is seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our payroll department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of multiple client payrolls to agreed deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process payroll data for multiple clients, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Run audit and validation checks for payroll, as well as interface data to General Ledger and Pensions systems.
- Monitor statutory payments and calculations, including SSP, SMP, and other relevant payments.
- Manage payroll changes to time and attendance systems.
- Administer the end-to-end payroll process and auto-enrolment compliance for a portfolio of clients.
- Provide payroll-related support to clients, including answering queries and resolving issues.
- Collaborate with the payroll team to ensure seamless delivery of payroll services.
- Stay up-to-date with payroll legislation and industry changes through independent research.
Requirements:
- Previous payroll administration experience in a bureau or practice environment, processing multiple clients' payrolls.
- End-to-end payroll processing experience, including pensions, benefits, and statutory payments.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail across both manual and systems-based work.
- Strong customer-focused approach, with the ability to handle customer queries and resolve issues.
- Knowledge and understanding of payroll legislation, processing, and auto-enrolment regulations.
- Ability to manually calculate a payroll.
