Job Summary:

Matchtech is seeking a highly skilled Design Manager to join our team in the water sector. As a Design Manager, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the design process for water and wastewater projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design Process Management: Oversee the design process for water and wastewater projects, ensuring that all design quality control processes are adhered to.
  2. Collaboration and Teamwork: Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver designs effectively, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and engaged throughout the process.
  3. Design Delivery: Deliver designs and tenders that meet program, budget, and quality requirements, adapting to changing scenarios and maintaining a proactive approach.
  4. Regulatory Compliance: Understand and manage responsibilities under CDM regulations, ensuring that all design work is compliant with relevant regulations.
Requirements:
  1. Qualifications: Qualified design engineer with academic credentials, preferably chartered or working towards chartership.
  2. Experience: Experience in managing design quality control processes, with a strong track record of delivering designs and tenders on time and within budget.
  3. Skills: Effective collaboration within multidisciplinary and diverse teams, strong problem-solving and analytical skills, and a growth mindset with adaptability.
