Position: Cyber Security Solutions Architect

Location: London/Hybrid

Work Arrangement: Hybrid - 2 days on-site per week

Compensation: £80,000 - £90,000 per annum

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Cyber Security Solutions Architect to join our esteemed organization. This role involves providing expert technical security counsel and strategic guidance throughout the enterprise.

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying potential digital vulnerabilities through comprehensive risk evaluations and practical assessments. They will engage in various transformation initiatives and will be tasked with developing and distributing tailored security best practice protocols across the organization.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver security recommendations, requirements, and guidance for new systems or modifications to existing systems, ensuring a security-first approach.
  • Conduct security-centric risk assessments and practical evaluations of new systems/services and modifications to existing systems to ensure compliance with risk tolerance levels.
  • Collaborate with various departments to review system designs, ensuring they align with established security principles, frameworks, standards, and best practices.
  • Define, document, and implement essential security frameworks, standards, and guidelines in partnership with relevant stakeholders.
  • Evaluate current security processes within your area of responsibility to ensure efficiency and comprehensive coverage, identifying opportunities for enhancement.
  • Act as the primary security liaison for your designated area, directing inquiries to the appropriate teams.
  • Work alongside the broader security architecture team to establish and uphold a standardized security approach.
  • Collaborate with IT departments to ensure that appropriate security controls and measures are implemented prior to system deployment.

Essential Skills:
  • Proven experience in a Security Architect or Information Security role.
  • Familiarity with established frameworks such as NIST, CIS, ISO27k, and MITRE.
  • Experience with SABSA is advantageous.
