About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Sales and Marketing Coordinator to join our team at Ocean Safety. As a Sales and Marketing Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting the Sales Support and Marketing team in the Southampton office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage sales and technical inquiries from a global customer base, providing timely and accurate responses to meet customer needs.
  • Utilize a central computer system to create and process sales orders, ensuring seamless customer experience.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of products and market segments to make informed recommendations and drive sales growth.
  • Input and interpret data to inform business decisions and optimize sales strategies.
  • Assist in the implementation of marketing and sales strategies to drive business growth and expansion.
  • Manage shop and POS display in our stockist network, ensuring optimal product visibility and sales performance.
  • Ensure key accounts are notified and updated on price changes, maintaining strong relationships with customers.
  • Provide support for service and hire inquiries, ensuring accurate and timely responses.
  • Offer technical product support, referring to manager when necessary, to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Respond to quote requests same day, providing competitive pricing and driving sales growth.
  • Ensure accurate information is taken through questioning, maintaining high standards of customer service.
  • Make outbound phone calls to engage with customers and drive sales growth.
  • Chase quotes regularly to maintain competitive pricing and win new business.
  • Cover reception area when required, providing exceptional customer service and support.
  • Attend and assist with logistics of exhibitions and events, promoting Ocean Safety's products and services.

Requirements

  • The successful candidate will demonstrate a mature approach and ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing timely product delivery to commercial and leisure customers.
  • The successful candidate must be a team player, able to cover for other members of staff during periods of leave, and meet deadlines and targets.
