Key Responsibilities
The Gas Maintenance Specialist will be responsible for:
- Conducting scheduled maintenance on gas appliances and piping systems in accordance with contract specifications and industry standards, while adhering to company health and safety policies.
- Addressing reactive and emergency breakdown situations and completing the necessary documentation and certifications.
- Performing both planned and responsive maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems as required.
- Ensuring timely submission of all reports, timesheets, and certifications.
- Participating in the company's on-call rota to provide comprehensive out-of-hours support to clients.
- Assisting fellow team members as needed or as directed by the Contract Supervisor.
- Ensuring all tasks are completed within the agreed contractual timelines.
- Overseeing visiting subcontractors to ensure compliance with quality standards and health and safety regulations.
- Maintaining a flexible approach to assist other engineers as required.
- Completing all work-related documentation accurately and punctually.

Essential Qualifications
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:
- Current Gas Safe Registration
- Commercial gas qualifications: COCN1, CDGA1, CIGA1, CORT1, ICPN1, TCPA1, Unvented Hot Water
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as a mobile multi-skilled engineer in the commercial sector
- Prior experience with commercial gas systems
- Demonstrated experience in a maintenance role, particularly in Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Heating services
- A valid Full UK Driver's License
Desirable Qualifications
Additional qualifications that would be advantageous include:
- Electrical qualifications - 18th edition C&G 2382
- OFTEC 101, 102, 105, 600
- CSR/IOSH qualification
- IOSH Working Safely / CSCS Card
