About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Solomons Europe. As a key member of our Contract and Quantity Surveying practice, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality services to our clients across the North of England.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a professional advisor to clients, providing expert guidance on NEC4 contracts and quantity surveying practices.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions.
  • Contribute to the development of our in-house talent, sharing knowledge and expertise to enhance the skills of our team.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to deliver exceptional project outcomes, leveraging NEC4 to achieve success.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory requirements, ensuring our services remain cutting-edge.
Requirements
  • Education to degree level or equivalent in Quantity Surveying, Procurement, Project Management, or Engineering.
  • Working towards professional accreditation, such as RICS, CIPS, APM, or ICE.
  • Experience with NEC3/4 contracts, with a developing contractual awareness and experience of change provisions.
  • Commercial awareness and skills in project commercial reporting, including forecasting, CVRs, and subcontract management.
  • Experience working in the process, energy, engineering, and/or infrastructure sectors.
  • Full UK driving license and access to a car for business travel.
