Project Quantity Surveyor Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Project Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Solomons Europe. As a key member of our contract and quantity surveying practice, you will be responsible for managing projects independently or as part of a team, overseeing procurement, contract administration, and project commercial assurance.



Key Responsibilities:


  • Manage projects independently or as part of a team, ensuring smooth and successful delivery
  • Oversee procurement activities, ensuring compliance with NEC4 contracts and company policies
  • Administer contracts, managing risks, and ensuring effective commercial assurance
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and internal teams, to achieve project goals
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, promoting Solomons Europe's reputation and expertise


Requirements:


  • Education to degree level or equivalent in Quantity Surveying, Procurement, or Project Management
  • Professionally qualified or working towards accreditation (e.g., RICS, CIPS, APM, ICE)
  • Full UK driving license and access to a car for business travel
  • Experience with NEC4 contracts and contract administration
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate project risks
