About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Family Solicitor to join our team, ideally with a strong following and a proven track record of success. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a range of privately funded divorce, financial, and children matters, working closely with clients to provide expert advice and guidance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Case Management: Effective management of all Family files, ensuring that all client work is progressed expeditiously and that clients are kept regularly informed on realistic outcomes, progress, and costs.
  • Court and Mediation Representation: Attend at Court, mediations, and meetings, preparing detailed notes and minutes as required.
  • Document Management: Ensuring the confidentiality and security of all firm and client documentation and information in line with Law Society and GDPR regulations.
  • Business Development: Achieving agreed levels of billing and time recording per annum, managing the bill process, and interacting with Finance.
  • Support to the Team: Providing support to other team members as required, contributing to operational review and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
  • 5-10 years PQE essential
  • Experience of dealing with a range of privately funded divorce, financial, and children matters, including acting for high net worth clients
  • Commercially aware
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good organisation and planning skills with the ability to prioritise work to meet strict timescales
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Ability to work within teams and individually using own initiative
  • Confidence in business development and winning work
Desirable
  • Demonstrable leadership skills
  • Experience of SOS case management system
