Heavy Goods Vehicle Operator Opportunity

The Recruitment Co. is seeking a skilled Heavy Goods Vehicle Operator to become a vital part of our team. In this role, you will ensure the secure and effective transport of products to various destinations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform thorough pre-trip vehicle checks to guarantee readiness
  • Safely and accurately load and unload merchandise
  • Strategically plan routes to ensure timely deliveries
  • Maintain accurate delivery documentation
  • Adhere to traffic regulations and safety protocols
  • Stay in communication with dispatch for real-time updates
  • Deliver exceptional customer service

Qualifications

  • Possession of a valid Heavy Goods Vehicle license with at least 2 years of driving experience
  • Prior experience in multi-drop deliveries
  • Familiarity with vehicle maintenance and inspection procedures
  • Knowledge of local traffic regulations
  • Strong organizational and route planning skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and efficiently
  • Physically capable of handling lifting tasks

Compensation

Minimum of 10 hours of work per day compensated

£15.89 per hour for the first 10 hours, increasing to £17.72 per hour thereafter.
