As a Product Control Business Analyst at Capgemini, you will play a crucial role in supporting the bank's Product Control and Finance Control functions. This position requires a strong understanding of financial processes, particularly sub-ledger accounting functions, and the ability to analyze complex problems and develop well-structured solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Determine business requirements and prioritize them for change
- Define functional requirements and develop approaches to enable them to be delivered via process changes or technology solutions
- Liaise with Risk, Finance, and Treasury Business Stakeholders to document business outcomes and functional specifications
- Define detailed business and integration requirements using Confluence/Wiki-based documentation
- Create detailed GUI mock-ups and other visual requirements
- Work closely with feature teams to ensure user requirements are clearly understood and developed as specified
- Analyze UAT issues and assist Business users/developers with issue resolution
- Analyze systems to identify functional gaps and enable them to be resolved via process changes/technology solutions
- Provide recommendations for process re-engineering and improvements
- Collaborate and maintain strong relationships within Finance, Risk, Treasury teams, and stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree in a Finance or related field
- 10+ years of experience and expertise as a Business Analyst
- 10+ years of experience and proficient expertise with Business Analysis tools and Agile software
- Proven experience in Finance processes, particularly Product Control and Financial Control
- In-depth knowledge and experience of Finance processes, including sub-ledger accounting functions
- Ability to break down complex problems into well-structured solutions
- In-depth knowledge and experience in projects following different delivery methods
- Understanding of Agile SDLC concepts and Scrum/Kanban methodology
- Extensive experience handling stakeholders across Senior Business levels
- Ability to train other BAs and pass on best practice procedures
- Good understanding of front-to-back finance and operational process flows
