Teaching Assistant Job in Manchester

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team in Manchester. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with a Key Stage 1 pupil who has autism and hearing impairments, providing support and guidance to ensure their inclusion and success in core subjects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work one-to-one with the pupil, providing individualized support and guidance
  • Assist with small group work, focusing on lower ability students
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote the pupil's confidence, enthusiasm, and motivation
  • Collaborate with the teaching team to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment
Requirements:
  • Level 3 qualification in Teaching Assistant or equivalent
  • 12 months of experience working in a school environment
  • Excellent numeracy and literacy skills
  • Ability to work effectively with children and adults
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
