The successful candidate will be responsible for governing and maintaining the overall technical architecture solution for the force, ensuring that all work undertaken adheres to agreed standards, design principles, and architecture methodology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the technical architecture team and provide effective leadership and management.
  • Act as the technical design authority for new technology solutions presented by the development or architecture sub-teams.
  • Ensure a consistent approach to adopting new technologies, infrastructure, application, and service selection.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging new technologies and best practices across IT infrastructure.
  • Drive innovative ideas across the team, encouraging creative thinking and data-driven solutions.
  • Act as an escalation route for architectural design issues or innovative solutions.
  • Develop and implement an emergent technology roadmap.
  • Monitor and manage service levels and performance standards for the team.
About the Role
