Electrical Engineer Job Description

Luniq Careers is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to strengthen our innovative and highly skilled engineering team.

The successful candidate will focus on gas detection systems as part of conversions/solutions for industrial materials handling equipment for UK Ex, ATEX, and IEC Ex compliant machines.

This role will be a great fit for an experienced electrical engineer with equipment build experience and/or skills in the electrical design of machines/industrial equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop electrical systems for industrial equipment
  • Generate Bills of Materials (BOMs) for electrical components
  • Integrate electrical and mechanical systems
  • Ensure compliance with UK Ex, ATEX, and IEC Ex regulations
Requirements:
  • Experience in electrical design and equipment build
  • Skills in electrical system design and integration
  • Understanding of electrical and mechanical system integration
  • Ability to work in a hybrid, office-based environment
