Penguin Recruitment Ltd is delighted to be supporting an independent, multidisciplinary consultancy in their hire of an ambitious and enthusiastic Assistant Planner to their dynamic team.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the wider team on a range of planning services and duties, working on a variety of projects and collaborating with clients, authorities, and stakeholders to ensure successful planning outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and submission of planning applications
  • Conduct site visits and gather data for planning reports
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Contribute to the development of planning policies and strategies

Requirements:

  • RTPI accredited degree in Town Planning, or equivalent qualification
  • Some previous experience in Planning ideal, however full training provided
  • Excellent written work and communication skills
  • A keen interest in Planning
