Job Overview
We are pleased to announce an opportunity for a Warehouse Operations Supervisor to become a vital part of our team at Culina Group on a full-time permanent basis.
Compensation: £29,905 per annum, with an additional 10% shift premium.
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, with rotating shifts from 6am to 2pm and 2pm to 10pm.
In the role of Warehouse Operations Supervisor, you will play a key role in assisting the Shift Manager to ensure that the handling and dispatch of all client products are executed with maximum efficiency and cost-effectiveness through effective oversight and management of all personnel and resources.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Guarantee that all products are picked, packed, and dispatched in accordance with client specifications and quantities, meeting the required Service Level Agreement standards.
- Uphold the highest standards of Health and Safety in the handling of all products.
- Achieve optimal stock integrity by comprehensively understanding all processes and procedures related to Warehouse Operations.
- Provide supervision, guidance, support, instruction, and training to all team members within your areas of responsibility.
- Conduct regular one-on-one meetings and performance reviews with team members as part of the performance management cycle.
- Maintain accurate records of activities as required by Site Operating Procedures.
- Ensure that all processes, daily checks, defect reporting, training, and operations of Material Handling Equipment (MHE) comply with both Company and Legislative Health and Safety Requirements.
- Support the business's commercial objectives through ongoing review and improvement.
- Perform any other duties as reasonably requested by the site management team.
Required Qualifications:
- Comprehensive understanding of all warehouse functions.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Proven experience in managing teams within a warehouse or production setting.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team as well as independently.
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities.
- A proactive attitude with enthusiasm and drive.
- Proficient in MS Office at an intermediate level.
