Breakfast Chef Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Breakfast Chef to join our team at the Mercure Blackburn Dunkenhalgh Hotel & Spa. As a Breakfast Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality breakfast and buffet dishes to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook breakfast and buffet dishes to a high standard
  • Ensure that all food is of good quality and stored correctly
  • Manage and supervise staff if required
  • Keep all working areas clean and tidy and ensure no cross contamination
  • Assist in positive outcomes from guest queries in a timely and efficient manner
  • Contribute to controlling costs, improving gross profit margins, and other departmental and financial targets
  • Assist other departments wherever necessary and maintain good working relationships
  • Report maintenance, hygiene and hazard issues
  • Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety and food safety legislation
