Key Responsibilities of the Plant Engineer:

  • Ensure all construction equipment is maintained to the highest standards, including diagnosing issues, servicing, and conducting Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDIs) on-site.
  • Perform breakdown repairs on construction machinery.
  • Conduct routine maintenance on equipment such as excavators, dumpers, pavers, and rollers.
  • Manage administrative duties and ensure all documentation, including warranty claims, is completed accurately and punctually.

The ideal candidate will consistently deliver high-quality work and be a valuable addition to the engineering team. Experience with heavy plant equipment such as dumpers, rollers, and excavators is preferred, with familiarity in brands like Terex, Bomag, Komatsu, Liebherr, CAT, and JCB being advantageous.

Qualifications for the Plant Engineer:

  • Previous experience in roles such as Engineer, Mechanic, Plant Fitter, or Service Technician.
  • An NVQ in Plant Maintenance or an equivalent qualification is beneficial but not mandatory.
