Job Title: Vocational Experiences Tutor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Vocational Experiences Tutor to join our team at Impact Training. As a Vocational Experiences Tutor, you will play a key role in delivering employability qualifications to young people and adults, as part of our Skills for Life and Work and ApprenticeshipsNI programmes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver employability qualifications to young people and adults, as part of our Skills for Life and Work and ApprenticeshipsNI programmes.
  • Support young people to develop the necessary skills and dispositions to secure and sustain work placement, progression to employment, ApprenticeshipsNI and/or Further Education.
  • Prepare and deliver training/facilitation/teaching sessions to groups of learners working towards targeted qualifications.
Requirements:
  • Essential Criteria:
    • Experience of preparing and delivering training/facilitation/teaching sessions to groups of learners working towards targeted qualifications.
    • A recognised qualification in teaching/learning/facilitation or evidence they are in the process of working towards.
  • Desirable Criteria:
    • Hold a L3 qualification of above in Employability Skills or equivalent.
    • Ability to demonstrate a strong commitment to support the needs of young people, particularly those that present with a range of neuro-diverse needs.
    • A minimum of GCSE grade C or above, or equivalent, in Maths and English.
    • A full clean driving license and access to a vehicle.
    • D32/33, A1/2 or TAQA qualified.
