Personal Support Aide for Visually Impaired Individuals

Become a valued member of our team as a Care Assistant dedicated to supporting individuals with visual impairments in their everyday activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accompany the Senior Rehabilitation Officer during home assessments and consultations.
- Assist with clerical tasks and provide support to clients engaged in rehabilitation programs.
- Serve as a sighted guide when necessary.
Work Schedule:
- Wednesdays
- Thursdays from 08:30 with a 1-hour lunch break
- Fridays from 08:30 with a 1-hour lunch break
Qualifications:
- This is a self-employed position; candidates must manage their own tax and insurance obligations.
- Previous experience working with visually impaired individuals is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Proficient IT skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office applications are essential.
- Candidates should possess Math and English qualifications (GCSE grade C or higher).
Preferred Attributes:
- A valid driving license and access to a vehicle for business-related tasks is desirable.
