Cerise Healthcare is seeking dedicated Support Workers to join our team and provide exceptional care to individuals with learning disabilities in our Supported Living Services across Castleford in Wakefield.

Cerise Healthcare's Support Workers play a vital role in enabling service users to lead independent lives. By providing person-centred care, they enhance the service users' lifestyle and promote respect and dignity.
Support Workers will assist service users with various aspects of their life, including:

  • Personal care and hygiene
  • Managing challenging behaviour
  • Assisting with finances and budgeting
  • Prompting and assisting with medication
  • Cooking and meal preparation
  • Household chores and maintenance
  • Social activities and community engagement
This role is ideal for Support Workers with prior experience working with individuals who exhibit challenging behaviour. Previous experience in personal care is also required.
As a Support Worker, you will work collaboratively as part of a team and have the opportunity for lone working in some services. Cerise Healthcare requires all our workers to have recent UK-based experience in healthcare.

Cerise Healthcare can consider both full-time and part-time Support Workers for this role and offer flexible working hours.

Support Workers must be able to work independently, be patient, and understand that the role may require flexibility to meet the needs of service users.


Cerise Healthcare's expectations:

  • Good understanding of written and verbal English
  • Basic numeracy skills
  • Current DBS on the update service (or willingness to undertake one)
  • Recent UK-based health or social care experience
  • Punctuality and reliability
  • Knowledge of Safeguarding of Vulnerable Adults (SOVA)
