Workshop Engineer Opportunity

Are you a skilled technician looking to advance your career in material handling engineering? Professional Technical Ltd is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Workshop Engineer to join our team at our Castleford site.

We offer a comprehensive training and development program, including a 6-week training program and a full buddy system to support your career growth. Our impressive salary package includes an OTE of circa £40k, bonus scheme, company pension scheme, overtime paid at time and a half, life cover, and 25 days holidays + bank holidays.

Responsibilities:
  • Servicing and repair of material handling equipment
  • Ordering of parts and ensuring accurate stock levels and movement records
  • Completing paperwork accurately and within stipulated timeframes
  • Managing work-in-progress and maintaining a safe working environment
  • Reporting unsafe practices or potential hazards
  • Maintaining familiarity with policies and procedures
  • Attending training courses to stay up-to-date with equipment knowledge
Requirements:
  • NVQ Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance, Plant, or similar
  • Served full apprenticeship
  • Technical experience in Engines, Electrics, and Diagnostics
