We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Learning Disability Advanced Social Work Practitioner to join our Living Well Gedling Team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting individuals with learning disabilities to live the lives they choose, with the correct support. This will involve multidisciplinary working, attendance at provider meetings, mental capacity and best interests work, as well as leadership of the team duty and safeguarding work.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated, and organized worker who is ready for the next challenge. The ideal candidate will be a qualified social worker with experience in learning disability services, and will possess strong leadership and communication skills.
The role will involve:
- Developing and implementing strength-based approaches to promote independence and wellbeing
- Leading and supervising staff to ensure high-quality care and support
- Working collaboratively with other professionals to achieve positive outcomes for service users
- Ensuring compliance with relevant policies and procedures
