Position Overview

We are seeking applications for the role of Administration Assistant within the Laboratory Medicine Department at University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust. This position is integral to supporting our clinical team and enhancing the operational efficiency of our services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the management of clinical workflows and patient interactions.
  • Support the coordination of clinical trials and research initiatives.
  • Facilitate communication between medical staff and patients, ensuring a seamless experience.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures.

Qualifications & Experience

Essential Criteria

  • Proven experience in an administrative role within a healthcare setting.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and prioritize workload.

Desirable Criteria

  • Experience with electronic health record systems.
  • Knowledge of clinical governance and quality assurance processes.
