Registered Nurse

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Registered General Nurse to join our Adult Replacement Care Service Team at Osborne Court. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to adults and children with learning disabilities who require nursing care due to complex health or behaviour needs.
The successful candidate will have relevant learning disability experience, with the ability to lead a shift and delegate responsibilities. They will also have experience in developing care plans, supervision, and appraisals. A positive attitude and ability to act on feedback are essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities- Assist service users with personal care, moving and handling, and supporting them to participate in activities, socialising, and making friendships.
- Admit and discharge service users, manage medication, and carry out clinical interventions such as enteral feeding and oxygen therapy.
- Lead a shift, delegate responsibilities, and carry out staff supervision and training.
- Act as a Named Nurse to a group of service users, developing care plans, attending meetings, and carrying out home visits and assessments.
- Communicate effectively with families and other professionals involved in the care of our adult service users.
