Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all facets of accounts receivable, including pursuing overdue payments and establishing new client accounts. Manage the complete accounts receivable cycle, ensuring timely follow-up on outstanding invoices and prompt resolution of any inquiries.

Foster strong relationships with clients, addressing any questions or issues related to invoices, payments, and credit policies in a professional manner.

Develop and implement effective debt recovery strategies to minimize overdue accounts and decrease the number of days debt remains outstanding, utilizing proactive communication and escalation procedures as needed.

Assess credit risk for both new and existing clients, performing comprehensive credit evaluations and setting appropriate credit limits to reduce financial exposure.

Produce regular reports detailing the aging of receivables, collection success rates, and overall credit risk, providing insights and recommendations for enhancing cash flow.

Ensure adherence to all regulatory standards, company policies, financial protocols, and industry best practices in credit management.

Conduct daily reconciliations of bank accounts, collaborating with the finance team to address any discrepancies or questions.

Requirements:
Demonstrated experience in accounts receivable with a proven track record of reducing overdue accounts.

Strong grasp of financial concepts, including credit risk evaluation, cash flow oversight, and accounting practices.

Experience in a fast-paced financial environment.

Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, with the capacity to engage confidently and professionally with clients and internal teams.

Effective negotiation skills to resolve payment issues while preserving positive client relations.

Strong organizational capabilities and the ability to prioritize effectively.

Adaptability to shifting priorities and business demands in a dynamic environment, coupled with a proactive and solution-focused approach.

A collaborative mindset, enabling effective teamwork and support for colleagues as necessary.

Proficiency in financial software such as Sage 200 and MS Excel for data analysis and reporting, or a willingness to learn.
