Position Title: Early Years Centre Leader

Employment Type: Full-time - 40 hours per week
Compensation: Up to £50,000

Overview:

As the Early Years Centre Leader, you will oversee the comprehensive management of the childcare facility, ensuring exceptional standards of care, education, and adherence to regulatory guidelines.

You will guide the team, allocate resources efficiently, and formulate policies to uphold a premier early years environment.

Core Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Oversight: Manage the daily operations of the centre, providing guidance and support to the staff team.
  • Curriculum Management: Ensure the educational program caters to the diverse needs of all children, aligning with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework to foster enriching learning experiences.
  • Compliance Assurance: Guarantee full adherence to EYFS and regulatory standards, including health and safety, safeguarding, and equality measures.
  • Team Development: Recruit, train, and supervise nursery personnel, cultivating a positive and collaborative workplace atmosphere.
  • Financial Oversight: Effectively manage budgets and resources to ensure financial viability and operational efficiency.
  • Community Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with parents and the local community, addressing concerns and promoting a nurturing environment.
  • Quality Enhancement: Implement ongoing improvement strategies to elevate the quality of care and education provided.

Qualifications and Skills Required:
  • Level 5 Qualification: A relevant Level 5 qualification in Early Years Education or its equivalent.
  • Experience: Significant background in early years management.
  • Leadership Abilities: Strong leadership, organizational, and management capabilities.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of EYFS: Comprehensive understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage framework and best practices in early childhood education.
