We recognize that fostering innovations in carbon reduction and removal technologies is essential for effectively addressing climate change. This involves investigating methods to decarbonize heating, creating alternative carbon-neutral materials, and enhancing CO2 drawdown capabilities through various strategies.

Position Overview: Technical Venture Partner

We are in search of a seasoned engineer to join our team as a Technical Venture Partner. In this capacity, you will assist portfolio companies in the design and development of engineering initiatives, ensuring the quality and uniqueness of the support provided by DSV and its collaborators to the startups involved. You will work closely with firms in the Climate sector, from hydrogen generation to direct air capture, to oversee engineering-related objectives and advocate for best practices.

Core Responsibilities

  • Define engineering specifications across the Deep Science Ventures portfolio from the ground up;
  • Guide teams in formulating technical outputs across various sectors;
  • Contribute to project design and implementation, utilizing your expertise to improve engineering outcomes;
  • Establish and nurture third-party relationships for successful project execution;
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance project processes;
  • Provide leadership in engineering implementation and project management;
  • Engage with climate technology initiatives;
  • Oversee project management and team coordination;
  • Exhibit proficiency in comprehensive project execution;
  • Hold a Master's degree in Engineering or a related discipline;
  • Possess knowledge of industrial sectors such as hydrogen generation and decarbonization;
  • Understand renewable energy principles including clean hydrogen and low-carbon fuels;
  • Apply innovative and sustainable design concepts;
  • Effectively manage diverse stakeholder groups;
