Position Overview

Operating multiple manufacturing locations, the company is recognized for its BRC accreditation and a diverse range of retail offerings.

Key Responsibilities

As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will report directly to the Engineering Services Manager. Your primary duties will include:

  • Conducting both electrical and mechanical maintenance, along with installation tasks as necessary to support the production machinery and associated services.
  • Collaborating with the engineering team to perform installations, repairs, and both corrective and preventative maintenance in compliance with industry standards.
  • Ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations, promptly reporting any risks in accordance with company protocols.
  • Diagnosing and resolving issues related to phase 3 process equipment, including mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Executing planned inspections and proactive maintenance schedules on production machinery.
Shift Pattern

This position requires availability for a 24/7 operational cover, following a variable shift pattern of 4 days on and 4 days off, with 12-hour shifts.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum Level 3 recognized electrical qualification (or equivalent) along with experience in mechanical and ancillary services.
  • At least 5 years of electrical experience post-apprenticeship or educational training.
  • Experience working with a variety of food processing equipment or in a similar fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • The ability to interpret technical manuals and wiring diagrams to systematically troubleshoot electrical issues on complex machinery.
  • A valid UK driver's license.
