Electrical Architect Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Architect Engineer to join our Missile Electrical Architecture team at MBDA UK. As an Electrical Architect Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design and development of missile defence systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Specify electrical requirements for subsystems and equipment
  • Define interfaces and characteristics
  • Design power architectures, including load budget and profiles
  • Develop data communication and processing architectures
  • Ensure signal safety, including routing of safety-related signals

Requirements:

  • Degree or equivalent qualification in electrical/electronic engineering or a related subject
  • Previous experience working within a similar role
  • UK/international travel may be required to suppliers, customers, and other MBDA sites in UK & Europe
