Position Overview

We are seeking a Strategic Sourcing Manager to join a prominent organization within the financial services sector. This role involves a variety of responsibilities aimed at enhancing procurement efficiency and effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the development and implementation of category strategies.
  • Manage tender processes and negotiations, including drafting RFx documents, evaluating proposals, and formulating recommendations.
  • Assess and refine specifications, proposing optimal commercial strategies for maximizing value and achieving savings.
  • Provide guidance on supplier selection, ensuring a fair and transparent procurement process.
  • Examine market dynamics and expenditure patterns to identify opportunities for cost reduction and innovative solutions.
  • Engage with internal stakeholders across the organization.
  • Finalize legal agreements, negotiate terms, and collaborate closely with the Legal Department.
  • Ensure adherence to policies and procedures throughout projects, while managing associated risks.
  • Identify and address challenges during negotiations, escalating issues as necessary.
Candidate Profile:
  • Proven experience as a Procurement Manager within the financial services industry, particularly in Facility Management or Property categories.
  • Expertise in category spend analysis, cost control, strategic sourcing, and supplier negotiation and management.
  • Demonstrated ability to excel in high-volume, fast-paced environments.
Compensation and Benefits:
  • Competitive salary range of £60,000 - £70,000 along with a comprehensive benefits package.
  • Flexible working arrangement: 3 days per week in the office.
