We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced National Tenders Manager to join our team at BSS, part of the Travis Perkins Group. As a key member of our National Tenders team, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth and success through effective tender management and bid writing.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a comprehensive tender management strategy to ensure maximum opportunities for BSS and TF Solutions.
- Lead and manage a team of tender negotiators to ensure they are meeting and exceeding performance metrics.
- Work closely with Directors, National and Regional Key accounts to ensure World Class service is delivered to customers.
- Develop succession and training plans for each colleague to ensure development and progression opportunities are available.
- Manage the workflow of plant and valve package tenders to maximise the service offering to customers.
We are looking for a candidate with previous experience in sales, preferably in a tender management or bid writing role. You will have excellent leadership and organisational skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and maintain great customer and colleague relationships.
You will also have the ability to research and analyse data, with a focus on problem-solving and delivering results. If you have transferable skills and a passion for tender management, we would love to hear from you.
