About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef Manager to join our team at Aramark. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for managing a small team of Food Service Assistants and overseeing the production of meals for breakfast, lunch, and evening service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of Food Service Assistants to ensure seamless kitchen operations
  • Produce high-quality meals for breakfast, lunch, and evening service
  • Manage accounts and bookwork, including margins and client relationships
  • Place orders and manage stock and wastage
  • Prepare menus for functions and other special events
  • Utilize Aramark systems (OPX, Aratrade, Myworklife etc) to streamline operations
  • Oversee production throughout the day
  • Process payroll, create rotas, and cover holidays
  • Complete daily checks and paperwork efficiently
  • Follow a menu cycle and prepare dishes to specification
  • Support the culinary team in delivering great food
  • Prepare and cook a variety of food following recipe cards
  • Ensure food is correctly stored according to food safety policies and guidelines
  • Manage costs and end-of-month IT reports
  • Ensure all staff training is up to date and daily duties are delegated
Requirements
  • Previous management experience and cheffing experience essential
  • Previous experience managing a kitchen
  • Previous experience reporting and working with KPIs
  • Food Hygiene level 3
  • Be a confident chef and leader
  • Experience in our systems is desirable, but training will be provided to the successful candidate
