Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registered Manager to lead a residential children's home. The Registered Manager will be responsible for the overall management and operation of the home, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, promoting a positive culture, and providing strong leadership to the care team.

With your guidance, the team will ensure that the children living within the homes have positive, outstanding outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all aspects of the residential children's home, ensuring the highest standards of care and support are maintained.
  • Lead, inspire, and manage a dedicated team of staff, providing supervision, guidance, and support.
  • Develop and implement individual care plans and risk assessments for each child, ensuring their needs are met effectively.
  • Maintain effective communication with children, families, external agencies, and professionals involved in their care.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and safeguarding procedures.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive environment that values diversity and respects the rights of children and young people.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Deputy or Registered Manager in a Children's Residential Home
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent qualification) or working towards
  • Sound knowledge of Ofsted legislation, regulations, and best practices in childcare
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
  • Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle
