Critical Care/ICU Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Critical Care/ICU Nurse to join our team at Nuffield Health Barts Hospital. As a Critical Care/ICU Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill patients in our intensive care unit.
Main Responsibilities- Provide individualized patient care to critically ill patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Monitor and manage patients' vital signs, including blood pressure, heart rate, respiratory rate, and oxygen saturation.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Perform various medical procedures, such as inserting central lines, arterial lines, and Swan-Ganz catheters.
- Participate in code blue and rapid response team activations.
- Document patient care and progress in the medical record.
Nuffield Health Barts Hospital is a state-of-the-art hospital located in the heart of London. We offer a range of medical services, including cardiac, oncology, general surgery, and orthopaedics. Our hospital features 55 beds, including 7 specialist intensive care beds, four digital operating theatres, and a full diagnostic imaging suite.
Person Specification- Registered with the appropriate governing body, including NMC.
- Post-registration experience in critical care/ICU nursing.
