Year 1 Teacher Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Year 1 Teacher to join our dynamic school in Hackney, Northeast London. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a positive impact on the education and development of young students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the national curriculum and school guidelines.
  • Deliver high-quality instruction to Year 1 students, promoting active participation and academic growth.
  • Use a variety of teaching strategies and resources to cater to different learning styles.
  • Provide constructive feedback and support to students to enhance their learning experiences.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide initiatives and programs.
  • Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and development.
Requirements:
  • Hold a relevant teaching qualification and QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
  • Proven experience in teaching Year 1 students, including knowledge of the national curriculum.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, colleagues, and parents.
  • Strong organisational and administrative abilities to manage lesson planning, assessments, and reporting.
  • Passionate about education and dedicated to fostering a love for learning in young students.
  • Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student engagement.
