Job Title: Year 6 Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Year 6 Teacher to join our team at a reputable school in Hackney, Northeast London. As a Year 6 Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching students aged 10-11 and preparing them for their SATs exams.

Our school is a two-form entry school located in Hackney, Northeast London. We are a Good rated school, as per Ofsted, and are committed to providing a supportive and nurturing environment for both students and staff. We value open communication and professionalism, and we are looking for a like-minded individual to join our team.

Responsibilities
  • Teaching the Key Stage 2 curriculum to groups of children while focusing on each individual child's learning targets, encouraging their strengths and improving their weaknesses.
  • Keeping track of children's progress and occasionally reporting back to parents.
  • Pastoral care of children, promoting teamwork and cultivating a conducive learning environment.
Requirements
  • A qualified teacher status (QTS) PGCE or equivalent.
  • Experience in teaching Year 6 students and preparing them for SATs exams.
  • A proven track record of delivering high-quality lessons and achieving excellent academic results.
  • A strong understanding of the national curriculum and assessment methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Patience, resilience, and a passion for teaching.
  • A willingness to work collaboratively with colleagues.
