Financial Accounting Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Accounting & Reporting to join our team at Schindler Group. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for leading our accounting and reporting functions, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and providing strategic financial guidance to the business.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the accounting and reporting team, providing guidance and support to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with the finance team to prepare and present financial reports to senior management and the board.
- Provide strategic financial guidance to the business, identifying areas for improvement and implementing cost-saving initiatives.
- Manage and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including auditors, regulators, and external partners.
- Proven experience in a senior financial role, with a strong background in accounting and reporting.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Proficient in financial software, including Excel, SAP, and Power BI.
- Experience in the construction or services industry, with a strong understanding of the sector.
