The Identity Manager role is a critical position within Computacenter (UK) Limited, responsible for the day-to-day operation of the identity management service. This service ensures that all users, including staff, contractors, partners, and customers, can be and have been correctly authenticated into the various areas of the corporate or partner networks.
Key Responsibilities- Service Delivery: Lead the delivery of the operational service to provide an Identity Lifecycle service to the business, covering internal, external, guest, and partner accounts.
- Identity Security: Own the identity security controls, including Conditional Access Policies, Multi-Factor Authentication, Passwordless, and Biometric Authentication technologies.
- Collaboration: Liaise with Access Management teams to provide a complete IAM service.
- Subject Matter Expertise: Provide subject matter expertise on identity framework integration, including the use of Enterprise Application registration in EntraID for SSO and automated provisioning.
- Problem-Solving: Support the design of enterprise solutions to resolve complex problems.
- Onboarding: Onboard solutions into existing IAM designs and plans.
- Work Package Management: Agree work packages to be delivered by the team.
- Regulatory Compliance: Meet our regulatory obligations by supporting ISO 27001 internal and external audits, Cyber Essentials Plus (CE+) compliance, customer audits, and presales questionnaires.
- Team Leadership: Line manage the team, performing one-to-ones and annual reviews, manage workload, performance management.
- Stakeholder Management: Manage stakeholder expectations by meeting regularly with your line manager to discuss individual and team performances and workloads.
- Reporting and Presentations: Generate and deliver reports and presentations to convey ideas, risks, and opportunities, best practices, or status.
- Collaboration and Communication: Meet with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate work, gain or provide support, work collaboratively.
- System Maintenance: Maintain systems and solutions by being accountable for our Identity Provider (IdP) systems and supporting applications and solutions.
- Change Management: Manage change and maintenance of IdPs and supporting systems.
- Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery: Ensure an adequate BCP/DR solution is in place for our IdPs.
- Relevant Experience: Relevant experience in an IT Identity Management position.
- Team Leadership: Team leadership experience.
- Technical Certifications: Technical certifications in Microsoft technologies (AZ500, SC300, etc.).
- Proven Track Record: Proven track record of work experience in a challenging commercial environment.
- Functional Systems Knowledge: Good working knowledge of relevant functional systems (EntraID, Active Directory).
- Multi-Tier Management: Experience in dealing with and influencing multi-tier management.
- Best Practice Policies: Experience of developing best practice policies and procedures for functional area.
- Industry Awareness: Highly motivated in self-learning and maintaining industry best practice awareness.
- People Management: People Management experience/Training.
- Results-Oriented Operation: Managing a results-orientated operation.
- Security Clearance: Hold SC Clearance or able to obtain.
