About the Role:

SOCOTEC UK Limited is seeking an experienced IT Delivery Partner to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth and improvement through the effective delivery of IT projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • IT Leadership: Provide strategic IT leadership to a business division or corporate function, ensuring alignment with the company's overall strategy.
  • Project Management: Develop and implement project management methodologies to deliver IT projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Business Improvement: Identify areas for business improvement and develop strategies to drive efficiency gains and operational excellence.
  • Demand Management: Work with the IT Director and other IT Delivery Partners to prioritize and control work throughput for internal and external development teams.
  • Communication: Act as a conduit between the business and IT, ensuring that the needs and requirements of the business are understood and met.
  • Escalation: Provide escalation support for service issues, ensuring that they are resolved promptly and efficiently.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in project management, business analysis, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of business operations and IT systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
